I have a clear memory of the first time I saw Lake Superior – the bluest blue I’ve ever experienced and an expanse that went on for infinity. In my dreams I own a lake house with big glass windows that allow me to take in the beauty of this lake. This painting is part of a series inspired by my travels to the upper peninsula, but I feel can't quite capture that special blue of Lake Superior.
