Solitude No. 4

$150.00

A collection of works on paper that strip down my art-making process to its essence. Color, texture, form. These pieces required much sitting and stillness and hours of good music. They were made in the slanted light of autumn and embody the crispness of the season. I love each of these pieces, and I hope you do too.

This is an acrylic painting on archive watercolor paper. They are made with thoughtfulness, acrylic, palette knife, scraper, and pencil. Each one of these have a high impact for small cozy space.

11x14 inches, unframed

It is recommended to mount painting on mat board, rather than behind the mat, to showcase deckled edge.

I’m saying ‘yes’ to new beginnings as we adjust to our new life in North Carolina. We did two moves in one week. Never again. It was one of the hardest things I’ve done thus far but in my life. Once we moved from Helsinki to M
Cleaning my studio in Helsinki and came across this piece I did last year. It was hidden among the other pieces I created. I realized there are many paintings I painted while in Finland that I didn’t share. ❤️ A week from today we move back to
